Ladies Night Out
Ellett Brothers Associates Ladies Night Out for Hands-On Knowledge
The old expressions, "practice what you preach" and "ladies night out" has a different meaning for a few Ellett Brothers associates. For these ladies, it's more like, "practice what you carry" and "see you at the range". While most women are spending time at the mall having their nails done, a few from Ellett Brothers can be found at
Shooter's Choice in West Columbia, SC.
Every Wednesday evening,
Shooter's Choice
welcomes the ladies and their favorite firearms to "ladies night out". Under the watchful eye of Range Master, Rick Padget, ladies from all corners of the community meet to learn, practice and enjoy the sport of shooting. From beginners to experienced shooters all experience the rewards of help, knowledge and the willingness to teach, offered by the Shooter's Choice staff.
Ellett Brothers Sales Associates, Vickie Bell, Shirley Mack, & Shannon Wicker enjoy their "nights out" for a little shooting fun, increased product knowledge and the comfort of knowing how to properly defend themselves. Vickie & Shirley, both owners of several handguns, admit to having their favorites. For Vickie, she prefers her S&W .22 LR, while Shirley enjoys her Glock 19 9mm. Vickie and Shirley have completed the Concealed Carry Class and have permits to carry concealed weapons anywhere the law allows.
Vickie acknowledges, "In the business Shirley and I are in, it is very much to our advantage to be able to talk about the merchandise with a little "hands-on" knowledge".
Shirley agrees while adding, "It is fun, addictive and I have the security of being able to protect myself".
These ladies represent the message, endorsed and promoted by Ellett Brothers, of the preservation of the right to bear arms-responsibly. These ladies also represent a growing group of women across the country that enjoys wrapping well-manicured nails around the grip of their favorite handgun.
